Cambridge Risk Solutions brings together Helen Molyneux and Patrick Roberts - two of the most original and innovative practitioners in Business Continuity Management and Emergency Planning. Between them they have worked in, consulted for or trained organisations across almost all sectors including energy, banking, engineering, transport, local government and healthcare.In addition to their practical experience, both Helen and Patrick have made significant contrbutions to the advancement of Business Continuity Management as a profession. They have contributed articles to numerous publications including Continuity Magazine and the Business Continuity Journal; they have also been regularly invited to speak at major industry events such as the BCI Symposium and Business Continuity Expo conference.
This combination of diverse industry experience and technical expertise ensures that all our Business Continuity Management solutions are practical, user-friendly and cost-effective. Helen Molyneux MSc MBCI
Helen has worked continuously in Business Continuity Management and Emergency Planning since 2001 when she became an Emergency Planning Officer in North Yorkshire. She gained further valuable experience in an Emergency Planning role for a London Borough before joining the Business Continuity Management team within Wealth Management at Barclays Bank. Her most recent role prior to setting up Cambridge Risk Solutions was as a Manager in the IT Security division of Accenture. Her specialities include Risk Communication, Emergency Planning and designing Crisis Management exercises.Helen previously worked as an inorganic research chemist for Unilever as well as serving as an officer in the Territorial Army, completing four tours in the Balkans. She has a BSc(Hons) in International Disaster Engineering and Management from Coventry University and an MSc in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management from Leicester University.
Patrick Roberts MA(Cantab) MSc MBA(IMD) MBCI
Patrick has worked in Business Continuity and Security consultancy since 2003 when he joined Olive Security. He subsequently spent 3 years as a Senior Consultant at Needhams 1834 Ltd. He specialises in Risk Modelling, Business Continuity training and Disaster Recovery solutions.Before embarking on a career in Business Continuity Management, Patrick had a varied career including various project and line management roles in the engineering industry and serving as an Infantry Officer in the British Army. He holds an MA in Natural Sciences / Computer Science from Cambridge University, an MSc in Optoelectronic and Laser Devices from St Andrews University and an MBA from the Institute of Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland.
