The third seminar in the ESRC’s “Lessons in People Risk Management” series took place yesterday at Glasgow Caledonian University. The central theme of the day was an exploration of why the approaches to managing people risk that have been so successful in aviation have achieved only limited success in the healthcare sector. Once again the speakers were individually excellent, but the real success of the event lay in the juxtaposition of the three presentations. Together with a very knowledgeable and engaged audience, this led to very lively and stimulating debate over the whole course of the day.
There are three more seminars in the series still to come: follow the link for more details.
